This is a column where people who are both self-confessed “travel lovers” and “experienced travelers” introduce their “top picks” that they discovered when they stayed at NIKKO STYLE NAGOYA.
For this second entry, we have hotel researcher “Koja”.
What is the item that he has been using at home since he first encountered it during his stay?
<The ORIGAMI Cup, which took over three years to complete>
In the world of specialty coffee, there is an important concept called “FROM SEED TO CUP.” This is the idea of thoroughly controlling the quality of all processes, from the cultivation and harvesting of the beans to production processing, transportation, roasting, extraction, and finally the cup.
Here at NIKKO STYLE NAGOYA, we show an extraordinary commitment to the final process of the cup.
The ORIGAMI brand aroma cups, which were adopted in collaboration with the local “TRUNK COFFEE” shop, have a barrel shape like a wine glass, and are designed to allow you to fully enjoy the aroma!
The matte texture and pastel colors blend in naturally with the interior of the guest rooms. There are two sizes available: a cute, compact 210cc size and a full-sized 320cc size. They are also sold at the hotel, so they can be used as a way to encourage guests to try authentic coffee at home.
The attention to detail in the Nikko-style architecture and interior design appeals to the sense of sight. At the same time, the high-performance speakers create an audio environment that appeals to the sense of hearing.
This cup is an item that embodies attention to detail in the sense of touch, taste, and even smell.
Here, you will find a selection of “real” equipment that has been carefully considered down to the smallest detail of the five senses.
